The Atrium

A unique glass covered public space, which connects the city, through Federation Square to the Yarra River.

The northern part of the Atrium, as a glazed covered street, provides a grand forecourt to the Ian Potter Centre and BMW Edge amphitheatre.

The Southern end of the Atrium steps lead from the deck level, over the railway and down to the riverfront.

This remarkable structure made of glass, zinc and steel is a popular space for larger, less intimate events, as well as public orientated gatherings.
